Oh how I love peanut butter cookies! We make our own peanut butter and they are sooo yummy! You can use any store bought peanut butter as well. When buying peanut butter you want as few ingredients as possible, peanuts and salt is best. Avoid all peanut butters with hydrogenated oils, they are not good for our bodies!
Peanut Buttery Cookies
Ingredients: Dry Bowl 2 cups quick cooking oats 1 1/3 cups of white wheat flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt Wet Bowl 2/3 cup sugar (raw is best) 1/2 cup natural peanut butter 1/2 cup milk 1/3 cup oil 1/4 cup sugar 4 tsp ground flax seeds 1 1/2 tsp vanilla Extras 1/4-1/2 cup natural peanut butter Directions Preheat oven to 350. Spray large cookie sheet. Mix dry bowl together. Whisk wet bowl together. Combine wet and dry bowls. When well mixed start to add by the teaspoonfuls the extra peanut butter (may need to mix with your hands) you will have swirls of peanut butter in the dough. Scoop by tablespoons full of dough and form balls, press ball slightly onto prepared sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 11-12 min. Cool 5 min, transfer to cooling rack and cool completely.
